The MKP2VSLOVw Valved FFP2 Active Carbon Respirator combines mechanical particulate filtration with chemical adsorption. Approved to the FFP2 standard, it incorporates a high-porosity activated carbon layer calibrated to absorb and reduce nuisance odors and low-level organic vapors that cause worker fatigue and nausea.
For demanding conditions such as waste processing, petrochemical handling, and foundry works, the MKP2VSLOVw includes an integrated exhalation valve that reduces internal airway resistance and ejects heat and humidity for sustained comfort. It is rated for solid and liquid aerosols up to 10x the Occupational Exposure Level (OEL).
The activated carbon layer is for nuisance-level odors and organic vapors only, below the exposure limit. It is not a substitute for a gas or vapor cartridge respirator where concentrations exceed exposure limits. It does not supply oxygen and must not be used in oxygen-deficient atmospheres.
