The MU-41107 is the lightest way to put aluminized fabric between an operator and a heat source. At 27 in by 39 in it covers the torso and upper legs from the front and nothing else, which makes it the item a site can issue widely rather than reserve for a specific task.

Because it can be combined with the separate sleeves, the plain apron is often the more flexible purchase than the apron with sleeves: the same coverage is available when needed, and the sleeves come off for work where arm mobility matters more than arm protection.
