Description

The MU-41111 is the longest glove in the range at 50 cm, reaching most of the way to the elbow. It is the version specified where no separate sleeve is worn and the glove alone has to cover the reach, which is common on short hot tasks where a full sleeve would be put on and taken off too often to be practical.

The construction is stated differently from the 14 in and 16 in gloves: DuPont Kevlar fabric with a radiant-heat-reflecting aluminium foil, stitched with high-strength Kevlar thread. It is supplied for steel mills, foundries and high-heat environments against radiant heat and small molten metal splashes. Unlike the shorter two, no EN standard is stated for this model.
