MU-60102
The MU-06102 is a silica welding blanket designed to provide fire protection during electric welding work. It can be used to smother small fire sources in their early stages and to shield both welders and surrounding equipment from the high-temperature slag and sparks produced while welding.
When equipment or items near or beneath the welding site cannot be moved, the blanket can be hung over or draped across them, preventing welding slag and sparks from causing damage. Made from silica fabric, the blanket withstands temperatures up to 1600 degrees C before reaching its melt temperature, and provides good chemical, solvent and abrasion resistance. It measures 150 x 89cm with a weight of 600 g/m2. Made in Taiwan.
