The MU-41106 is the middle option between a plain apron and a full coat. At 27 in chest width and 49 in long with sleeves attached, it covers the front of the body and both arms while leaving the back open, which is the point: the back is where body heat leaves.

Front-and-arm coverage suits work that faces a heat source and does not turn away from it, such as furnace charging, skimming or pouring from a fixed position. Where the operator moves around the source, a coat is the correct specification because the back is exposed for part of the cycle.
