Warning Triangles
MUSSE supplies reflective and LED warning triangles from Taiwan in three configurations: a wide-splaying folding-leg model for uneven ground, a compact central-stem model that stows in a flat case, and an LED model with three light modes and a magnet for steel surfaces.
An important note on approval: none of the triangles in this range carries an ECE R27 type approval or an E-mark number. Most European countries require an approved triangle to be carried in the vehicle, so these units do not satisfy that requirement. They are supplied for markets where type approval is not mandated, and for fleet, site, warehouse, recovery and event use where the requirement is visibility rather than a compliance certificate. We state this up front so that buyers importing into the EU do not have to discover it at customs.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Are any of these warning triangles ECE R27 approved or E-marked?
No. None of the three models carries an ECE R27 type approval or an E-mark number. Most European countries require an approved triangle to be carried in the vehicle, so these units will not satisfy that legal requirement. They are supplied for markets where type approval is not mandated, and for fleet, site, warehouse, recovery and event use.
Q: Which model should we specify?
It comes down to ground conditions and stowage. The MU-47001 has four wide-splaying legs and holds position best on gravel, cambered verges and rough site ground, but needs the longer slim case. The MU-47101 uses a central stem and a flat case that fits under a boot floor panel, which is usually what decides fleet orders. The MU-47201 adds a three-mode LED and a magnet, and is the one to choose where there are no headlights to reflect.
Q: What is the difference between a reflective and an LED triangle in practice?
A retroreflective face returns light to its source, so it performs well for an approaching driver whose headlights cover it and does very little in a tunnel, an unlit yard or from an angle the face does not cover. An LED unit generates its own light and carries those situations. Many fleets order both and pair them.
Q: Can the cases and branding be customised on OEM orders?
Yes. Case colour, printed or moulded branding, and packaging can be specified on OEM runs. Tell us the target market and the intended application and we will quote against your volume.
