At 30 cm the MU-31101 is the smallest cone in the collapsible range and is built for indoor and low-speed work rather than the open road: forklift aisles and racking ends, wet-floor and cleaning zones, car park bay closures, loading docks, and sports or training grids. The fabric body cannot chip or scuff a sealed warehouse floor the way a hard PVC cone can, and at 0.24 kg a marshal can carry a dozen in one hand.

Collapsed, the whole set drops to roughly the height of the base moulding, so a full kit lives in a locker or a cleaning trolley instead of taking a pallet space.

Q: Will these mark or scratch a sealed warehouse floor?

A: No. The contact surface is the moulded ABS base and the body is fabric, so there is no hard edge to scuff an epoxy or sealed concrete floor. This is the usual reason facilities teams move from rigid PVC cones to collapsible ones for indoor use.

Q: How many can a cleaning or facilities trolley realistically carry?

A: Collapsed, each cone is close to the height of its base moulding, so a stack of ten to twelve occupies about the same space as a single erected rigid cone of comparable height. At 0.24 kg each, ten cones add under 2.5 kg to a trolley.

Q: Is the 30 cm height enough for outdoor use?

A: For pedestrian areas, car parks and site walkways it is adequate. For any location with moving vehicle traffic we would specify the 45 cm or 55 cm model instead, and for road works our rigid PVC and PE cone ranges.
